William P. Angrick

Over the past thirty years Bill Angrick has served as an entrepreneur, investor and advisor in the e-commerce, technology, business services and non-profit sectors.

Mr. Angrick co-founded Liquidity Services, Inc. in 1999 to leverage the power of e-commerce and software to transform and improve the management of the growing volume of surplus assets and returned goods within the retail, industrial and public sector supply chains. As Chairman and CEO, Mr. Angrick has built the company into the world’s largest B2B e-commerce marketplace platform powering the Circular Economy with over $10 billion of completed transactions with more than five million registered buyers and 15,000 corporate and government sellers worldwide. As summarized in its Environmental, Social and Governance Report and in a recent featured program on CNBC Liquidity Services is a Circular Economy pioneer that supports its clients’ sustainability efforts and small businesses around the globe by helping them extend the life of assets, prevent unnecessary waste and carbon emissions, and defer products from landfills. Previously, Mr. Angrick served as a Vice President of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown’s Consumer and Business Services Investment Banking Group from 1995 to 1999, where he provided strategic advice to rapidly growing companies involved in the business services, e-commerce, and software sectors in the U.S. and abroad.

Mr. Angrick has been honored with several acknowledgements, including the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Washington DC Region, Washington Business Journal’s “Top Public Company CEO Award” and the Kellogg Business School Alumni Master Entrepreneur Award. Mr. Angrick supports several private commercial and non-profit organizations; is a longstanding member of the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Advisory Council, serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area, is a Trustee for the Georgetown Preparatory School and has been involved in a number of historic preservation projects. 

Mr. Angrick holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University (1995) and a BBA with honors from the University of Notre Dame (1990). Mr. Angrick also earned his C.P.A. certificate in 1990.
